Relationships have requirements! these requirements are laws that must be kept for the relationship to thrive. Service is a law of relationship. When we are strong and sturdy we must seek others to lift. We have skills and talents that we are stewards over. There are people in our midst that need our skills to survive. We are valuable in their lives. We have meaning. We are necessary as teachers and examples. We participate in their eventual success. We also need these same folks in our lives. They have skills and talents that we don’t poses. We need to seek for what they have not so much for what they take or diminish. In these relationships it is often times easy to get off task and see what damage people do rather than seek for what we receive and for what we can give.
